Dr. Mane is the proud Owner and Medical Director of Cross Timbers Veterinary Center & Boarding Facility. He completed his veterinary training at The Royal Veterinary College in London, England in 2006. After practicing at a progressive small animal practice in Louisiana for 8 years, he relocated back to the North Dallas area to settle permanently. His experience in emergency medicine and surgery as well as general practice has given him a well-rounded approach to providing his patients with top-notch care. He strives to educate his clients on preventative health care for each of their pets. His main interests are soft tissue surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, and regenerative stem-cell therapy.
Dr. Mane took over Cross Timbers Animal Hospital in December 2017 and he is very excited to add his level of professionalism, high standard of patient care, and excellent customer service to this facility. His vision for Cross Timbers Veterinary Center & Boarding Facility is to become a favorite veterinary facility in the North Dallas area and to provide his employees, clients, pets and the community a place they can trust for genuine care for their furry friends.
During his time away from work, he loves to spend time with his wife, daughter, and their Golden Retrievers.
Dr. Becky McNatt decided to become a veterinarian when she was five years old, living in the country and attempting to save any stray animal she could find. She pursued this passion through school graduating valedictorian from Lutheran High School of Dallas in 1996, getting her BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M in 1999 and finally receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She has a special interest in both internal and emergency medicine. She is married with four kids, two dogs and a hamster. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing games and doing anything outdoors.
Dr. McNatt is no stranger to Cross Timbers. She previously worked here as an associate DVM from 2013-2016. She is a very skilled surgeon and practices high quality medicine. We are lucky to have her back as a full-time DVM.
Kitty has been a part-time member of Cross Timbers for over 15 years. She loves working with animals and people. She truly believes that the staff at Cross Timbers are your “second family doctors”. Her hobbies include spending time with her grandkids, reading, camping and horseback riding. In January of 2020, Kitty joined Cross Timbers as a full-time Office Manager. We are thrilled to have her on board as she brings years of experience in customer care and human resources.
Alinda was born on the island of St. Kitts, where she was a human nurse. She relocated to the US Virgin Islands and started a new careers as a veterinary nurse and has been every since for the past 28 years. She moved the US 8 years ago, when she joined the Cross Timbers family. She has worked at the local ER part-time for the past 7 years. She has a vast amount of experience in all facets of veterinary medicine including ER, critical care, general medicine and surgery. She continues to provide top notch nursing care for all of our patients. Alinda has been a invaluable asset to our team and enjoys training our new employees. On her time off, she enjoys camping, gardening, cooking and spending time with her husband and 2 sons.
Kelly has been a true asset as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Cross Timbers since September 2012. She received a BS degree from Mankato State University and also holds a degree as a LVT from Cedar Valley College (1995). She has over 25 years of experience in small animal and avian medicine and surgery. She is passionate about educating our pet owners about preventative health care for their pets. She is highly experienced in all aspects of surgery and dentistry. She loves her career choice as it gives her ample opportunities to learn new things daily.
Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking with her dogs, bird watching, reading, cooking, and global-travelling.
Michelle is no stranger to the veterinary field. She has been working as a veterinary technician for 5 years. She joined Cross Timbers in September 2018, but has already proven to be a very valuable asset. She enjoys surgery and emergency medicine. She has a passion for mending our sick patients and helping them recover quickly with attentive patient care. In her free time, she is very enthusiastic about kickboxing, weight training and running. She loves spending time with her friends and trying new restaurants (food is love) She is also loves to watch movies.
Sara was born in Dallas, Texas and has lived in McKinney for most of her life. She graduated from McKinney Boyd High School, then attended Baylor University for the first two years of college to study health and biology. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree at Texas Woman’s University in Spring of 2020. Her goal is to become a traveling nurse. She has been dancing since she was three years old and traveled to 10 different countries (most of them with her best friend). Sarah loves chocolate and horror movies. We have been blessed to have Sara on our team as she is a very bright and motivated individual and the pets love her. Sara has joined our veterinary technician team and has done well.
Stephanie is a native Texan and has worked in the veterinary field for 20 years. She enjoys every aspect of veterinary practice, but patient care is her passion.
Outside of work Stephanie enjoys watching sports, cooking, and spending time with her husband, children and pitbull Daisy. Stephanie has been a valuable member of the Cross Timbers Family for the past 3 years. Her vast experience and knowledge has been invaluable.
Caitlin is originally from California. She recently moved to Anna, Texas and joined Cross Timbers Veterinary Center as a Animal Care Technician. She previously trained horses when she was in California. She has two horses named Atticus and Karma, and a dog named Scout (which was rescued as a puppy). She is very excited to continue working with animals in Texas! We are lucky to have such a dedicated person taking care of our boarding pets. Caitlin has been training as a Client Services Specialist and a Veterinary Technician. We are lucky to have a well-rounded team member.
Taryn is a student at Collin College. She has been working with small animals for 6 years. She has a 3-year old English Bulldog named Eddison. She loves to take him on walks and play fetch. Taryn has been a veterinary technician with Cross Timbers for most of 2018. She has been a valuable addition to our team.
Annie has been at Cross Timbers for almost 4 years as a receptionist. She has a B.S. degree from UNT and over 10 years experience in the veterinary world. Her work goals are to continue to learn new things that can help our patients and their owners. She has an avid interest in studying animal behavior. Annie is a valuable asset to our team. She is a well-rounded team member that can work in any environment. Her relationship with our pet owners and her true love for each and every patient is priceless.
Her hobbies include long-distance trail running, climbing, traveling to off-beat locations globally, and eating weird food. She loves spending time with her husband Michael, their small zoo of animals, which include: 2 cats Walter & Escher, 2 alpacas Ranger & Tonto, 2 goats Perseus & Cassiopeia, 7 chickens, and a Newfoundland puppy named Mazzy Starr.
Krista was originally a Kansas farm girl and moved to Texas in 1999. She has been a part of the Cross Timbers family since 2004. She has been teaching school since 1993. When shes not working, she is busy with her family, two dogs, and two guinea pigs! Krista has been one of our lead Client Services Specialist and keeps our customer information board updated with monthly.
Olivia was born in London, U.K. and grew up in Oklahoma, Florida, and Texas. Over the years her passion to work and be around animals only grew stronger so it seemed natural that she would follow her heart into a career that involved working with animals. She is currently studying hard towards getting my Associates Degree in Animal Science. She recently moved to Blue Ridge, Texas in August 2018, and has been a delight to have at Cross Timbers Veterinary Center as a Client Services Specialist. She loves horse riding and hanging out with her friends. Olivia has been with Cross Timbers since August 2018 and has been invaluable to our team.
Sasha was born in Washington state and has lived in Alaska, Hawaii, and Texas. She completed the Veterinary Assistant program at Collin College and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2019. She is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Veterinary Assistant. She has two dogs. A Maltese names Padme and a mini Australian Shepard named Lady. In her free time she enjoys hiking, going for runs with Lady, and traveling the world with her husband. So far she has been to Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, and Ireland, with plans for much more travel to come. Sasha joined Cross Timbers in the late 2018 as a Client Services Specialist. She has been a valuable team member.
Mary was born and raised in Colorado. When she moved to Texas she found her passion working with animals. She has been in the veterinary industry for the past 3 years and she enjoys every minute of it. Currently Mary also works at a local ER hospital to increase her knowledge in veterinary medicine in hopes of entering the LVT program. When she's not at work she enjoys traveling, paddle boarding and hiking along side her 1.5 year old Frenchie named Peppa. Mary joined Cross Timbers in August 2020 and shown great potential. We are pleased to have her on our medical team.
Matt has lived in the McKinney his whole life. His love of animals has directed his high school and beyond experiences. He was a member of FFA at McKinney High school where he showed rabbits. He graduated from MHS in 2018 and then went to Oklahoma State University for a year. He is interested in pursuing a career in the Animal/Biology industry. While in high school, he worked in kennels part time taking care of animals and is excited to join the Cross Timbers family. He currently has two dogs, Arya a 1 year-old German Shepard and Bailey a 13 year-old Labrador Retriever. Outside of animals, he loves hiking, swimming, gaming and relaxing with his two dogs. Matt joined Cross Timbers recently and has been taking fantastic care of our pet boarders and we are very blessed to have him here.
Lydia is a freshman in highschool. She started working as an volunteer at Cross Timbers in April of 2019. Since then, she has made huge strides in demonstrating excellent work ethic and leadership. She is currently working weekends to help with the boarding pets. She has a 4-year old Westie named Magnus. Her interest are photography and art. We are grateful to have her on our team.
Blake Barnes has lived in Collin County for most of his life. He is currently a junior at Prosper High School and is a member of the Cross Country and Track Team. He enjoys running, biking, swimming, and hanging out with his three dogs, Bentley, Boomer, and Princess. He has recently joined Cross Timbers and is looking forward to attending college after graduation with a long-term focus on a career in the legal field. Blake does a great job taking care of the boarding pets on the weekends.
Lillian is currently a junior at Texas Woman’s University who is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in English.
She enjoys pretending homework doesn’t exist, playing with your dogs, and feeding ducks mountains of bread. You can usually find her with one of her cats on her lap, stuffing her face with ice cream, and writing 28 papers every week. Lillian joined Cross Timbers in August 2020 and been a valuable part of the team. We appreciate her attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Jenna is currently interning at Cross Timbers and working as Animal Care Technician after school and weekends. She recently moved to McKinney after living in California her whole life, but loves Texas and everything it has to offer! Since moving here she has gotten two dogs just a few months apart; Ranger, a two year old lab, and Dodger, a two year old blue heeler. Jenna is a senior at Rockhill High School and is very invested in their vet program. She is serving as the Vice President for Prosper FFA and hopes to go into studying Agriculture Education after high school. Jenna joined the Cross Timbers family in August 2020 and we are very happy to have her taking care of our boarding pets.
