I am Kayla Perryman and I cannot remember a time I didn’t have an animal or fur child in my home. I have worked in the veterinary field for 4 years this August 2021. I have three fur children of my own; Brootus the Boxer Dog, Lily the Terrier Dog Mix and Pepper the Tortie Kitty. When I was younger my mother worked at a veterinary clinic in Crowley Texas that saw exotics, cats and dogs. I remember going to that clinic and their African Gray would talk to you and dance on his perch behind the Reception; I always enjoyed going with my mom there to work and seeing all the animals that came in. My mother even brought home 2 opossum babies home whose mother was hit by a car and we raised them like they were cats; my dad even brought home a lop eared rabbit for Easter after a work trip. Animals in my house are not just my pets but by my fur children. I have a love for animals of all kinds and tell my husband to this day I will never not have a pet in my home and I want my children to remember that pets are not just animals they are family. Kayla fills in at Cross Timbers as a Client Services Specialist on the weekends.
